Your monday mantra
Say it with me ladies: "I deserve more and more happiness every day."
I literally repeat this every single morning and write it in m journal. I sh*t you not.
If you are anything like I was about a year ago, you just expected major ups and downs as your normal.
Whether it was your work week, your relationship, your diet or your general happiness, you would have a good week followed by a sh*t week.
Well what if I told you that it is fully possible to get more and more happiness every day and it is just took some mindset practice?
You do squats for a great ass, and you do mindset work for happiness. Here's how:
Stop thinking of happiness as a destination:
"When I have this I will be happy," or "when I get that raise I will feel successful." No, you won't. Not if that's your mindset.
Happiness is a state of mind that has no hard requirements. Need proof? There are trillions of people out there living simple, designer-bag-free lives that are happier than a camel on Wednesday.
I'm not telling you to lower your standards, but if you can show gratitude for the things you do have it's way easier to be happy and get your vibes flowing in the right direction.
for examples, I HATED my 9-5 job (sorry ex boss that I'm pretty sure is on my mailing list). It was not until I was able to appreciate it that I had the time and energy to build my biz on the side.
Figure out what makes happiness a thing for you:
I have boiled my happiness down to 4 major factors (with the help of Gay Hendricks, author or "The Big Leap"):
Love: From my hunky fiancé, friends, family and my tribe of humble-istas.
Success: In all of my goals including business, connectedness, learning new things, consistency.
Abundance: Basic needs, money, pretty things, endless opportunities.
Inspiration: Inspiring people in any way and being inspired by others.
I could write hundreds of examples of what I am grateful for under each category and I am sure you can too.
Every morning (before or after you meditate because you do that every morning riiiiiiight?) write down 1-3 things you are grateful for under each category. Then write 1-3 things per category that are going to happen that day to make you even more happy.
This will train your vivacious energy and your pretty little mindset to expect amazing things to happen every day!
At night before bed go back and check off all of the things that happened and start to think about what you want tomorrow and then meditate on it!
Make happiness a 100% commitment:
Are you sick of yo-yoing with your happiness? Do you feel like no matter how hard you try you cannot consistently be at at ease?
I encourage you to make the decision once and for all to BE HAPPY. To work on yourself. To get to where you want to be.
I took action by hiring a coach to change my mindset, map out my happiness, and I now have a business, live and home that I love. I am planning 2 weddings for me and my loving fiancé, one in the South of France and one for all of our friends and family in my home-city.
None of this would be possible if I did not commit.
